Default short one liners

Post the best short (clean) one-liners you've encountered. My current favorite is:

Beethoven was so deaf, he thought he was a painter.

I don't know if this qualifies as a one-liner, really, but while we're on the subject:

The last decent thing written in C was Schubert's Unfinished Symphony.

The thing is, it starts in B minor, but said composer switched keys so often there is bound to be some C within.

If only through a combination of accidentals, no doubt. Wouldn't that suck--you're sweating to play something in five flats with a ton of accidentals and you go, wait a minute--this is C!

Actually, it's his Symphony No. 9 (the "Great Symphony") that's in C. His No. 8, the "Unfinished", is in b (B minor).

While it may be the "Great Symphony", The Ode to Joy, is a LOT better

and now, my favourite one liner...

'EAT ME!' - The Gingerbread Man (Shrek)

Thanks, mudshark. I should have done more research, but the one-liner just isn't the same with Schubert's Ninth.

The Ode to Joy, the awesome one!
Ah, I'm in good company... what a relief. "Ode to Joy" is from Beethoven's Ninth, or the "Choral" Symphony. But both are worth listening to. I agree, though, the "Ode to Joy" is truly awesome!

Sorry, didn't mean to spoil it. I just had this little voice in the back of my head, saying "C? Wait a minute ... "

It won't happen again. Probably.
