[color=#000000ost_uid0]By the way, is there any particular reason you haven't registered again? I was just wondering.[/colorost_uid0]

Try a different browser.

Look at your security/cookie options.

Threaten your computer with a two-by-four.

Get PHJ to send you a few gnats so you can offer a Burnt Sacrifice to the computer. (Note: It doesn't make much sense to try this immediately after the suggestion immediately preceding this one.) (But then, computers don't make much sense in these cases.)

Blame it on Zuke.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Bad Zuke. No cookie.

Btw, about peoples names not showing up in the list of members online. It doesn't work for you if you're in Netscape, but it will work if you use IE. So Netscape hates everyone. [/colorost_uid0]

I used to use Netscape until AwOL reset all my bookmarks as revenge when we escaped from their vile clutches. Plus now it takes half a minute to reset the screen after a window closes. :madder: It was better than the IE I have now.

May the AwOL executive offices be cursed with a plague of midges! Â Â Â Â Â Â Â :smile: [/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Well, it's Mr Blair's favorite refrain. As opposed to Mr Bush, who prefers 'Blame it on Al Queda'.[/colorost_uid0]

Round about the time of Gulf Wars I, there was a "Blame It On Hussein" tune making the rounds.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Y'know how you keep thinking the same thing as me, Pointy? That's a somewhat ansible-like behaviour.

Except we aren't twinned subatomic particles.[/colorost_uid0]

No. And before you start, I did try to register at my local library, but they weren't having any of it. I know I could buy it (though it would have to be from Amazon), but my cash is being saved up for the next two [iost_uid0]Legends of Dune[/iost_uid0] prequels.

That sounds too quantum for my liking.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]I need something that has proof of my name, address and signature. Something with at least some combination of two of each, which I don't have. The Stornoway library was much better.[/colorost_uid0]
