Default Necesito headphones nuevos.

Recommend a worthy brand of headphones that can last for about 3 years or more. The last set lasted that long, but the ones I have now have decided to crap out when they haven't even been on my head for a year.

So basically if you say "Get Logitec headphones!", I'll murder you in cold blood since those are the brand that have proven themselves craptacular.

And these are computer headphones. They need a microphone attachment as well.

Go.
Suggest.
Now.

Hmm...the ones I have (actually, it's a headset...) and have for since my family got this computer are 'Altec Lansing' or something like that. (That exactly. I'm holding them.)

They seem decent. *shrug* To be honest, the ones on my old computer were Logitech and they snapped like all my sunglasses eventually do.

Hmph. Dumb Logitech. I think the last ones I had were Labtech... when we went to Best Buy to get new ones, I looked for Labtech headphones, but there were none, so I said, "Eh, Logitech sounds like Labtech."

Never doing that again!

Scroll down to Speakers & headphones. Granted, they might be overkill for what you want, but it's been my experience that well-aimed expensive purchases are preferable to "ditch as you go" cheapo stuff.

I've got some great wireless headphones from Phillips. No microphone, but at least Phillips seems like a good brand.

And at least Logitech still makes good mice.

Lawl. Overkill indeed. We do have some great headphones similar to these, but the plug would nowhere near fit into the headphone socket. It's like the horse pill of headphone plugs.

This is sort of off topic, but what's the deal with those ear bud headphones? I can't ever figure out how to wear them right, they either pop out or hurt my ears.

Haha, I remember the first time I saw them, I said, "I'm scared, I don't want to put anything in my ear. o_o"

I don't really know how to tutor you in how to wear them correctly. I guess when I first used them, I was like, "This is weird... they're uncomfortable..." but in a few days, they were fine. They take getting used to, I think.

I like the "earbud" ones that have a plastic hoop-type thing that goes around behind your ear and keeps the headphones in place. They are awesome.

but how do they work when you wear glasses?

I have the problem......so I use in-ear headphone.....thought about using the ones that have a rubber tube going into the ear

I have some of those earbud-with-hoop headphones around, too. True, it's a bit annoying with my glasses, but it usually works just fine. But I've settled for earbuds with a cable organiser to keep them from being pulled out, which is more comfortable and less problematic in some ways.

If the hoop is narrow enough, it should be fine.

I also wear glasses and I find the conventional ones and the neckband type problematic for that reason. Pinching and pressure onthe ears is not good times.

The earbuds avec hoops have worked the best overall for me.

Agreed about backphones. I love the design, but I just can't wear them regularly. Way too hard to coordinate with glasses.

Ginga, if there's a pair of headphones out there that lasts three years, I wanna know about it. I go through about a pair every two months. I'm probably harder on mine than most people are, though. I tend to cram my Discman and 'phones into the same pocket of my leather jacket, and I sometimes forget to stuff the cord in with them when I'm done, leading to rolling my chair over it and other such griefs.

Heh. Well, I'm serious, we got Labtech brand headphones about the same time we got this computer, which was about 4 years ago. We had to replace them one summer because slowly they were starting to crap out, and that was 3 years ago. I wasn't incredibly gentle with the things, either, sometimes they'd get shoved around a bit carelessly. Of course, I wasn't shoving them into my backpack... D:

Well, the final verdict is in; we went to Best Buy today. They didn't have many, but I saw this ultra-sweet looking pair.

Maverick wins if you were all competing on if I would get the brand you recommended. They're Altec Lansing, and they are AMAZING. They're comfortable, they have noise reduction, it has microphone control... and best of all, for me, anyway...

THEY BRING OUT THE BASS.

Whoo-hoo! We even got the 2-year Best Buy warranty so we won't have to go through this if they break within 2 years. :P

*throws a party*
